What bhp do you think I'd be pushing and what 0-60 do you think I'd get with - Jap TT, standard apart from T25 brand new turbos running at 15psi?

about 340-360bhp at the crank and 0-60 of around 5.2 seconds - you'll have to be pretty good off the mark though ;)

Would be a shame to leave all those ponies under the bonnet when you could add a Zorst, chip and boost and have over 400BHP. :D

400 on standard tubs will kill them pretty quickly. Yes I KNOW some people have been running this that and the other for so many years BLAH but you are operating the turbos outside their efficiency zone and they're running pretty hot. How many people out their claim to have run 15psi for years actually give their cars constant abuse??? Thats one factor never taken into consideration ;) Just because the car is set to 15psi or whatever doesn't mean it always runs at that ;)

winner - best technical assistance JAE 2004

Nice advice :D

FACT!

Fair comment - Mine was running at 14-15psi with chip, but i only use to give her a bit of a blast once or twice per day. I very rarely raped and piliged her. Probably the reason she lasted so long.

If you are looking for a balls out fun car, you will need to spend a bit of money. This can vary from £2500 - £25000.

Yup thats where I was coming from ;)

even 360bhp can get you alot of fun and trouble. Too man people Talk hugh numbers and have no conception of what they really mean. My veiw 360 to 450 bhp with a sorted chassis = mega fun.

550bhp at the rears is a lot more though :D

I'm resisting the urge to do much more as I can't afford to have any problems if things go wrong. Gonna run the T25's at 9psi to start with and turn them up a bit once they've been on for a while and nothing has gone wrong. After just spending £3500 getting it rebuilt, I dont want the engine to go bang as all the internals are stock... but chip, exhaust etc (basic stuff) are definetly in the pipeline.

So what would be a sensible psi to run the brand new T25's at would you guys stay (without dramtically reducingthe life of the engine)?

Nice advice :D
