Have a loud knock and a bang from under the car when I accelorate and then slow down, on the point of slowing i get a massive knock from unther car on the passengers side, its bloody loud and you can feel it through the car too!

 

I replaced the tension rod arms with rose jointed ones as the silicone bushes had split thought this would sort it as i could see nothing else bad under there, but no its still doing it???

 

Anyone have any ideas where to look? :cry:

Exhaust mounts. Mine did the same. Check underneath and theres a mounting bracket at the back of the gearbox that the exhaust hangs off. It uses some little rubber mounts if I recall rightly. My bracket was totally missing (had a gearbox rebuild before I purchased so assume they didnt refit it) and it was that that was making a very loud banging.

Nice one Nick will have a good look there :bow: , but I'm sure its comming from around the wheels? Mainly passenger side.

Tension rods aren't tight enough. Get under the car and re-tighten the nuts that attach the roads to the lower wishbones - they have to be ****in tight tho so get as long a lever as possible ;)

There are realy tight in there andy? Any other ideas?
