Guys,

please help..curbed my Zed a while ago avoiding a lane greedy lorry and have been to have a full algnment check 9once bent bits replaced - thankyou Andy Z. The matey said that the front nearside caster angle was well out of alignment and that I had probably bent something but I have had it looked at by a mechanic and there seems to be nothing wrong.

What's confusing is that the nearside is in the centre of the arch and the off-side (which is supposed to be correct) is set forward in the arch and rubs on the inside of the arch when turning?

Since most of you know a Zed inside out what could it be? or failing that where can I go (I live in Reading) to get it looked at by someone who knows Zed's.

but after fitting new ones and getting all my wheels alligned the garrage said something must be bent, mine is pulling to the left a bit....... so if you get any good advice on this i would ace if you could drop me an e-mail or something!

Cheers mate!

An easy way would be to measure different points both sides and see if theres any difference, how hard did you hit it?check the front s/frame bolts for signs of movement.HTH :)

Had the same thing after losing an argument with a post in a car park :slap:

Everything looked straight, but once I started putting straight edges on everything it turned out that the lowermost arm was very slightly twisted - which obviously gets magnified by the geometry. It took hours to find, so have a proper good look (ideally in a pit). I could probably take a pic over the weekend and show you where mine was gone if noone else can name what I'm on about...
