i currently have a couple of niggles! firstly my seatbelts dont retract properly and i think this is an MOT failure

 

2/my tension bushes are leaking goo is this MOT failure or more advisory as theres no play in the wheels at all.

 

can the seatbelt prob be fixed if any one knows!

 

what general failures are there likely to be? or common on a zed as im dreading it TBH hope you can help guys

Once had my 200 MOT'd. the guy looked under the back when it was on the ramps with a torch and said that I had a problem my bushes were gone. Indeed they were ****ed but I didnt have chance to replace em before MOT. As he went to start playing with em, I said no need and that they were fine, the gunk is where I had to hammer and hacksaw the old ones out lol. So he left it at that.

 

MOT stations round here are shocking, they just go in the car give the seat belt a tug, if its locked it passes :O, they do have a quick peak for tears etc but never seen em check if it retracts lol.

Just got mine done, my mate did it at a fiat garage, there was a note sent out about the 300zx front suspention, your allowed 1inch of play in the top suspention bushes,which does seem alot. but when he got a bar under the wheel and moved it , there was about 1/2 inch off play, my front bushes have gone but it passed.in the process of fitting new ones, handy hint: drop the tetion rode mounts off, makes it easier to take the armes out
