It's complete *****cks. A waste of time and money. They keep getting ticked off by the ASA for talking *****cks. As it says here

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. File in the round file next to why blow off valves are good for Zeds.

actually I fitted one of these to my missus xr poo.. and it did make a difference on acceleration, much snappier response and fuel econ.

just my 5p's worth ;)

Had on on my renault 19 16v

around 20 miles extra per tank

or was it just Coincidence?

i heard all they really do is lean out the mixture a bit, i wouldnt put one on a turbod car!!

Exactly what it does.....

...lots of older, non-sophisticated cars would be running too rich as jets in the carbs wear and let more fuel through. This thing leans out the mixture to compensate, thus reducing fuel consumption and restoring mixture to correct ratios. Hence the better performance.

On a car with correct air/fuel setting this gadget would not work - the engine would run too lean. Deffo wouldn't run one of these on a ZX.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
