I'm told i need a new ptu, from what i've read the only way to go is to get the series II on. There's one forsale on the forum, is that the kind of price i should be paying for one? (£100 used i think).

How much are they to buy new?, i've read you can't get them in this country?

 

Any pointers???

They are about £320 from Nissan UK or half that from Courtesy Nissan in the U.S.

Either way they only take a few days to deliver.

£100 second hand is about right as long as it is the Series II type.

Not worth buying a Series I when you don't know how long it will last.

I think I read today that someone is selling one for £100 (a series II)

I reckon I read that he did not have the loom,think you need that,but check with COS m8. ;)

if you go to the traders section under nwpetrolheads? they sell a new II ptu for £190 for the full kit

Having posted in the traders section on MJP, and requesting price/availability on this very item, and not getting a reply yet, I've just placed an order with nwpetrolheads............................ £195 delivered, Seriers II PTU :dance: :dance: Yay, at last I'm sorting the bloody problem out :D
