AFAIK there are O2 sensors in the elbow joints just after the turbos and there are cat temp sensors down where the cats are.

The O2 sensors are connected to the ECU (and can be read by a ConZult).

Q1) Are the cat temp sensors connected to anything other then that strange little red warning light (with the 3 wavy lines) on the dash which J-spec cars have?

Q2) Are these cat temp sensors fitted to UK spec cars?

Q3) What's their part number?

I have searched the manual and online parts but can't find them and am none the wiser.

Please help oh gurus

Hi Vijay - yes that's what I thought. But someone else swears blind these cat temp sensors are fitted on all Z32s. First I'd heard of it, hence the question here :D

All evidence one way or the other gratefully received. Thanks, Vijay.

I think the cat temp sensors are only connected to the light on the dash. Well i hope they are as one of mine got broken when i did the de-cat

Thanks Eddie - is yours UK or J-spec import?

There seems to be no connection to the ECU for the cat temp sensors. I just disconnected mine and tucked them up under the carpet.
