Just speculative at the moment, but has anyone had experience of the Skyline R33 GT-R?

 

Just how good are they?

 

Am I right in thinking that the GTS is the same but only one turbo?

 

I found a K reg GTR for £5K - seemed very cheap?

Nope they are quite different, i think single turbo rear wheel drive (could be mistaken)

r33 also looks dogs danglys compared to r34 or 32

Great around bends.

 

Unless you go for a 33GTR with 450bhp or above then I would say not breath taking performance.

 

Tooley will back me up on this. I have a mate with a GTR 33 430bhp. I nail his ass from 120 upwards.

 

Stick with a Z.

 

No fuck it get a Diablo. Totally pasted my motor.

The GTS is only a 2.5 single turbo, rear wheel drive, and no fancy electronics.

 

Certainly not the most desireable car.

 

However a GTR VSPEC is an excellent car, test drove one, just couldnt quite afford the asking price.

I drove a mates R33 vspec and it is an awesome car which can take corners at simply ridiculous speeds, kinda pricey though, and in my humble opinion the Z looks far better.

Brian I agree with you,Much prefere the look of a Z to a skylark.

But the skylark is one hell of a tool!

 

 

Mac I think I remember Johnny saying you were from up north somewhere. If you have to break any legs around the Newcastle, Sunderland area give us a bell and I will meet ya for a beer.
