Quick brake query.

Are the front brakes the same on an NA and TT?

If not, would it be worthwhile fitting TT disks and calipers to an NA?

Cheers

Scott

IIRC it depends on the year...

Earlier NAs had thinner discs and probably different pads. Later NAs had same brakes as TT.

The TT set-up would be an easy and ideal upgrade for an early NA#

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

scotty, did this upgrade on my NA, the combination of the bigger disks, and the fact that you (or I at least) fit new pads, service the callipers and put fresh fluid in, makes a big difference :)

Cheers lads. So, putting the front disks, calipers and new pads (aswell as SS brakelines and DTA brakwe bracket) would make a big difference?

Would i need to change the rear disks/calipers?

yes, it will make a difference and no, rear disks and callipers are the same on all cars

Cheers buddy.
