Damn drove to work this morning and left the canoe at home. :p

Was just on the M6 near Lancaster and there was nearly a foot of water on the road :eek: hard work and the lightening was hitting the ground around the motorway and exploding...very frightening worse thing was i was in my zed as it was sunny earlier :rolleyes:

Been sunny here most of the day, but a thunder storm past over and fook me didnt it ever lash down! couldnt see out the windows!

 

Was gonna take me daughter over to the minders for a day of but decided not to travel in it! Seeing as I couldnt see out me house windows, didnt stand much of a chance driving the Z!!!

I once quickly washed a car that I had stood for about 10 months in weather like that!

Threw a bucket of soapy water on it and a quick brush past with sponge,

less than 1 minute to clean car.

Bolton was a storm this tea time!

I've been to Boscastle loads of times, when I was a kid too. It's really sad to see it ruined like that :( , it's a miracle no one got killed.

 

I believe Prescott was deployed to Bala to try & put a stop to white water rafting lol.

Julia and I go there a few times a year, as she has a mate in Camelford. I rang the owners of the hotel we stay at - fortunately they are at the top of the village (top of the hill) so the place was untouched and they are OK :cool:

 

Good news, as it's a decent place to stay :)
