noisey heater

Getting a really loud noise every time i put heater on. It works fine as does the air con but noisy under bonnet just in front of passeger window.

 

Any ideas, i thought sounds ike a bearing gone ?

    Does it make the sound if you press the econ button?

    If the noise goes away its the air con compressor. Either chop the belt or disconnect the single wire going to the clutch on the front of it... Of course you'll lose the cold air until you get the compressor fixed but at least you'll be able to use the heater ;)
