That's how i busted my first spanner

heat them up with a blow torch or similar...:)

Ok this didn't work either :( . anybody know the size of the thread  ? recon i'm gonna have to cut the *******s off

When i do get these off, does anybody know if their is anything worth replacing i.e. bushes and stuff??

just soak it in wd40 overnight if you can. Keep going out every hour and spraying some more. You could always buy an impact wrench that is for undoing wheel nuts. It runs off a 12v supply and you can fix sockets onto them. It really works for removing stubborn bolts. They sell them in Costco.

Tried the WD40 bit, nearly used a whole can since yesturday :D

But alass no movement at all, starting to round the head off now :nono:

Rounded off one of the bolts only slightly but enough the cause slippage when applying pressure with the BIG bar that Takemetothepub brough round tonight  , to help gain the leaverage that was needed to crack the nut.

Big thanks to him

But we got one off, so now i have:

1 Rear Shock on and not coming off without a fight :nono:
