camera shy

Anyone got or used (or knows someone with) camera shy plates; they reckon that plates are totally flash proof (including gatso!)

Little pricey but money back if don't work

I read a few tests on speedtrap websites and they seem to be a waste of money, better with a radar detector.

Your doing quite a bit of 'shopping' for a new Z owner, had a lottery win? biggrin.gif

Paul

I got them on my Z and they seem to work.

I bought them at Silverstone.

You can't take a picture of the plates, BUT only if you're using the flash.(like every speedcam does)

Don't look any different to normal plates - as they give money back, might test them first... if they don't, its three points but hey I wasn't driving, honest guv!

* this company (apparently) uses latest technology... e-mailed them to confirm gatso question and they say ALL flash cameras

PS Selling current car to run Z as main!

as the specs system doesnt use a flash then i cant see them being any use

the best method for specs is to buy a front spoiler with a deep recess and fit your plate right at the back pointing down at the road.. A bit like Trevs.

Paul

Specs?

Is that the new system that takes a speed reading and calculates your speed when you get to the other one(blue ones with aerials)?
