LOL I know it is going to be thirsty but maybe Zhound can give me an idea on how thirsty she is going to be.Fas take you out in her if you come up to PPS;)

Ill be there around the bank holiday weekend at the end of august maybe the saturday or friday, i will let you know before hand!

Am i gonna have to chip in for fuel as i might have to take out a loan! :D

Fas

Fuel consumption depends really on how well your car is tuned. I am using JWT off the shelf chip for 740cc injectors. Then I fine tune the fuel curve with an AFC. But for low throttle driving the chip is pretty close for the fuel curve. For me the mpg is slightly worse than stock until I start getting into boost. It will drink a lot more under boost.

I'd suspect with your 850cc injectors the result should be similar. For normal driving you can tune it to be pretty close to stock.

congrats, how long a break in period do you have? look forward to seeing the beast on the move :D

sorry should have said running in period, not break in period!

:hyper:

I know what you mean about not remembering what it's like to drive.

Mines only been off the road for a few weeks and I'm forgetting already. :(.

What day you coming down ?. If it's Saturday pop round to my parents place for a cuppa, me Mike and Matt will be there lifting engines .

Thanks Petey whoever you are;)

Cant wait to see how she performs, at the end of the day, I have never been in another zed apart from the few I test drove. I cant imagine being in one quicker than mine, it feels like a rocket now, cant imagine the 'g's felt when you floor that engine....

What MAX boost pressure you gonna run macca? Whats the most those greddys can take?

Well the engine will be capable of running 2 bar that's around 30psi,on day to day driving I think I will be running around 1 bar,but don't forget 1 bar with the Greddy TD05 is gona feel like 2 bar using stock turbos lol.

For competition use I will be running 25psi+ on race fuel.

30psi   jeez iv seen zeds boosting at 1.2bar but fook me

Right ok, well the turbo that I have of smithy can allegedly take 2 bar too, obviously I would never run that, idealyl for racing I will be running about 20psi I hope, perhaps slightly lower 18-19, inline with the zedhound! :)

I would have thought you would run more but when u think about it your right, 1bar in one of your tubs is gonna equate to more overall air being rammed into the cylinder!

NIIIIICCCCCCCCCEEEE!!! :) Cant wait to watch u on the strip!!! Let me know where ur going mate and when so I can come watch!! :D

Are your internals uprated? I know the bottom is pretty bullet proof but have you changed the head gasket, heads matched, bigger valves etc etc?!?

Mac,

Hope all goes well for ya mate.... :D Mine goes back to Pete on Mon 16 for some fetling....she should only be there the week so will pick her back up the following mon... :hyper: :hyper:
