need help for parts-300zx,2+2 non turbo

hi to anyone out there.I have just got a '91 300zx non turbo and finding it difficult to obtain new front discs, a mechanic friend of mine removed disc and took it somewhere, he returned with new discs that looked identical but didn't fit with the calipiers...any ideas...part nos or who can I call, that knows about imports

andre,

The non turbo calipers are slightly narrower than the twin turbo ones and hence so are the discs, Mike Feeney in the traders section can source them or as an alternative you could fit a pair of good used twin turbo calipers and then that opens your choices up as twin turbo discs are available in many types and makes also it will be a bit of an upgrade too.

thanks jeff, for your suggestion and responce, I have taken onboard and this might be the best route. however, I have had the disc's skimmed, which seems to have cured the problem for the moment. my mechanic has come to the conculsion that the disc's were modified in japan as there is no disc resembling the one's I have, suppied by nissan in the uk.plus the front disc pad sizes are different to the rear!...the joys of imports,,,rerards andre
