OK, seems that a lot of us have previously owned a 200sx s13/14/14a

before the Z, is this a natural progression from the sx to a Z?

I previously had a s13 before the Z, seems by reading the threads

a lot of you guys have too?

PS: Was a very good car, just wanted something bigger! ;)

wheres the ' I came from a ford' option

I had a ford between the whole s14 s13 then s13 saga lol. Duratec v6 lol, seats looked the *****x in leather but uncomfy to **** on long journeys

imho s13's are still a really good car, prolly better value than a Z even, much fun for a cheap car, minf you pais a small sortune for my first one :O

Depretiation stinks :(

I had s13 and the had the first Z ,and as bob said it was a natural progression to get a Z

Bob want about a poll to see how many tailgates were forked on the s13

2 x S13's for me :D

2 S13's for me too. Both were very cheap to buy but needed new engines after a couple of weeks!! (Maybe it's my driving). Made the mistake of selling my Z32 but am looking for another now!!!

Bob what about a poll to see how many tailgates were forked on the s13

LOL! Seems to be a common problem! You could hear the rust inside

the bootlid whenever i shut it :(

Ive had S13's and a S14a

The Zed is so different from the S14a. Its not what I expected. I thought they would have been similar. But they are like chalk and cheese.

I found the Skyline GTS-T to be very similar to my S14a but the Zed is just something else. Doesnt handle or feel anything like a S14.

Great car but the rust got to it. Tailgate, arches etc.

I was going to get an S14a (or an Accord Type-R) but got the 300 instead.

Great choice ;)

I had a Cav 2l before the Zed. Just a slight power increase :D

Still got my s14a :) was my daily driver 'til the head gasket went pop a couple of weeks ago :( another 'cheap' nissan repair on the horizon

where's the 'no its a ****** ugly car' option lol....nah heard they're quite good motors actually...

Great choice ;)

i had a citroen 1.1i before the zed just a slight bit more of a power increase but only a little ;) :p

S14a for me too. Great car. Totally trouble free 18 months of motoring, and that meant thrashing it every day. :D

I had a Pug 306 XSi.

Technically I still do, if anyone wants to buy it?! ;)

2000 S14a bag of shite IMO

my only previous nissan was the bluebird turbo...shared the same engine as the early 200 i believe...rust killed it though

Supprised you noticed ;)

I had a NEW Nissan Patrol SE Touring 2.8 TDI and thrash that every day. :D You needed a mile of clear road to instigate a overtaking manover.

Had Calibra Turbo, Rover 220T, Montego sssh EFI Turbo ( it was well fast) and a RS Works 1600 Mexico that weeed all over RS2000's and lots of motor bikes, but just always liked the look of the Z.
