I have still got my autoglym gear, but I hear this has been topped by Meguiars now, what have you all found to be the best?

Meguires is mine superb stuff

Anybody using Zaino? I've heard it's superb .. I was thinking about ditching my Autoglym, based on the feedback I've been hearing. :D

Have used Autoglym, Carplan and now Meguires. Very difficult to choose between them.surprisingly Car plan seemed to give the best shine but the sealant was crap. autoglm was harder work but looked good. only tried meguires quick shine but well impressed.

nick

try the maguires body scrub especially if you have a red car

unbelievable stuff

never use autoglym again

I use what ever is in the cupboard, I think I have all the ones mentioned above including mr sheen :D

I use Zymol.

It smells amazingly good. But it leaves a white powder, espeically on the chip proof paint at the bottom of the car.

I have never polished mine.

I think you get to know how crap the body work really is when you spend time polishing it.

Due for a respray when the kit eventually goes on anyway. :D

One day............

only polish once a year, and sadly I Mer which does an OK job.

Heard the Macguires stuff is good but havent seen it anywhere...where do u get it?

Currently use Turtle Wax colour magic (red, of course ;) ) and then finish with either Turtle Wax Extreme or Autoglym super resin polish.

Gives good finish and protection. I polish about 4 times a year and find that between polishes, a wash with good old Turtle Wax Zipwax is all it needs to replenish the shine.

No need for the more expensive car shampoos - none can beat the old Zip Wax it seems. See the Autocar test results :hyper:

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Neilson is all we use at work. top trade stuff.

TBH i dont rate a lot of this retail name brand stuff. its just too fekking expensive

LOL bet you all polish yer nobs with it as well   Can you get a polish for rust? :D

:D That brings up a good point, when is ChrisC gonna paint his car???

Put a shine on yer Helmet, with "VASALEEN DE EYE"

Which one if the Bee Gees taught ya that one :p

I always find mequires polish good. Autoglym super resin polish has cutting compounds in it, as I found out once concentrating to hard on a door edge.

Andy Duff - black underseal would be good on your rust spots!

Nice day is gonna need some head stone polish at this rate

Swissol or Wax Wizard is wicked stuff.

Once applied its so easy to keep gleaming. Smells good as well !!
