We need another one of these threads. A mate of mine suggested we are dragging the value of our cars down by complaining about them and not posting positive things.

So lets have a few

Anything that isn't on the left of centre

LOL We're not mentioning mine in this thread ;) The right dont ya mean?

Well at the moment everything is ok with mine, however posting this is probably tempting fate.

Mechanically she is sound as a pound, boosts at a round 1bar and drives superbly :hyper: :hyper:

I luv my zed and I luv the attention she gets from everyone.

Well I guess and honest asnwer would be "Anything that is not wrong with it"

Smartypants! :p

As far as my car goes, the radio aerial now retracts fully into the wing :)

FFS I knew this would go negative lol :D

My car is ace - apart from the front which is being fixed ;) Fast as ****, handles great, never grumbles about starting and everything works!

Next... :D

Everything works on mine (I think). Well I suppose there are a couple of minor things, like the front bumper is being repainted this week and the aerial doesn't go up fully, but I have a new one which'll fix that and the cruise control doesn't work (but who cares). Oh, it also dets occasionally on hot days when running on Tesco's finest (but I suppose that's my own fault) !

'90 Auto TT, it's a dream, completly stock apart from a blitz filter and some "performance" pads and disks, perfect starter, sounds amazing, fast as fook, very responsive auto box, really comfortable and pretty quiet on the motorway, cruise control is great fun, targa tops are ace in the sun (weekend was great, think I'm going to get a bald spot from having the roof off on the m-way though...) standard brakes do a stunning job of stopping, great handling, lovely dash controls (I love my space ship style console around the wheel :D)

Absolutely stunning car!! It's a crime they are so cheap to be honest!

Neighbour has a '95 GTO with all the fancy bits and pieces they come with (traction control, adjustable suspension, six speed box 4 wheel drive etc) and I'd rather have my 300, it cant hold a candle to the clean lines of the zed, plus IMHO it sounds rubbish!!

Then of course there is the support you get from a community like this!!! loads of really friendly and knowledgeable people always ready to lend a hand.

Parts seem readily available from specialists and not that pricey for such a nice car.

Worst thing about the car? well it's a bit thirsty (but what high performance car isn't) and my ariel sounds like the car is farting whenever it retracts, to quote my 4yr old, the car made a stink!

Mines lovely & never goes wrong :hyper:

shouldnt speak too soon :x:

Mine will be perfect when I get a couple of missing interior bits fitted this week.

It's scary fast at the moment LOL

For how long....? Who knows!

Suspension is sweet. Engine is running like liquid gold. Just waiting on the finishing touches.

right on are the sound the look and the drive...to think even after all these years even a stock zed is probably in the top 5% of motors on the road today...just think of the £millions folks spend on totally average motors...most get excited when a new car does over 175bhp...what are they like...!?

One thing that IS right with mine, is the

CLOCK!!!!!!

And a very BIG thank you to AndyP   :duffer: :duffer: Top bloke :D

Mine is will be perfect when it comes back from the garage. ;)

Seriously, it will be! Pity its going up for sale. :( Wanna keep her, but the need for a diesel estate ( ) is getting too much. Oh, well. I'll only get another in a bout 5 years...

Back to the point though, everything about this car is good. It even helps the economy by keeping lots of money in circulation. ;)

My lad sumed it up at the weekend. Having walk round all the stands and club pitches he just said, "the 300ZX is just much classier looking than all the other performance Jap Iron".

The boy knows what he's talking about.

My petrol consumption is amazingly good at the moment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (largely cos it's not going anywhere cos it's in the garage having the bottom end problems sorted). ;)

Mines perfect, well its red, what more do I have to say :D plus its looking better now its had its Wings West bumper and SE rear spoiler added and hopefully within two weeks it will have side skirts and 19s.

Best car you can buy under 5k, or should that be 3k!

Barry.

LOL! They're always propping up the bar, bragging about the 150bhp

poxy 4-pot they've just paid £10k for :nono: Oh well, it's their loss!

Whats right about my Z is the feeling you get while ''trundling'' along

at 100mph, then flooring it, the autobox kicks down & the tubs spool up,

the noise from the Blitz filter..........Awesome! Another one for the grin

factor i think!.......worth every penny.

mmm, where shall I start...

The plastic bat I got out of a xmas cracker in the front window looks great :o

The black paintwork looks great for the half an hour after being waxed.

Its very quick (now after the help tweaking I got at billing)

Its a good cruiser- comfortable- not too hard a ride, but still handles like poop to a blanket.

Its very reliable (sure I had a hose blow- most of the rubber on a 15 year old car is due up for renewal)

People look at it not just with a wow, but with a 'what the f$ck is that mota?'

You guys know the rest...

Well one of the turbo's on my Z is fine .

Project Silver Streak Commences .....

i still think mine is very fast and it makes me laugh all the time at my poor shit scared passengers. my girlfriend hates it. also it killed my mate in his chimmera 4ltr tvr AND HE REALLY HATES IT.

Each time I look at my zed it makes me grin let alone when I am driving it. Even though it has no Turbos I still can shame a few boy racers and smarmy gits at traffic lights. I love the anonymity of it too.

Can say that in the last year it hasn't really been off the road for more than a month and that is for a new clutch and bodywork mods. Pretty damn reliable otherwise. (shoots self in foot)

Just found out it was built in Japan for drifting so thats more to smile about!

I've had a standard Jap TT Auto for 2 months, got it at a very good price, spent some money mostly on "precautionary" stuff like spoiler replacement, timing belt, big gearbox oil cooler, etc, only actual problem has been one puncture; doesn't seem excessively thirsty (though I haven't been hammering it much yet), it's smooth and sweet to drive, it's been totally reliable and everything works (fingers crossed...). And it's still the most beautiful car Japan has ever produced!
