Guys, i know this might weel sound stupid but start as i mean to go on...How do you measure the exhaust bore diameter and where should i be measuring it from? The tail pipes ive got are 4", the pipes out the back of the sliencer to the centre box are 3"..is this the 'bore'? Reason is i was told all i need are new silencers so i was gonna order them from zedcentre but i cant find anything thats 2/2.25" bore???

Feel free to abuse me with 'are you stupid or what' messages!

The pipe from your exhaust headers downwards is your "exhaust" and measuring the outside diameter of that will give you your bore. Ignore the tail pipes. The problem is you may find a lot of different sizes under there if you have an aftermarket system. The aftermarket systems made to fit the zed will come in the right lengths and fittings to fit, but the bore of the pipe is down to the guy that made it.

You sem to have a back section in 3" bore. If you buy a back section ( from the centre box to the tails) from the zed centre it should be a direct replacement, if however you just want to replace the back boxes, you are going to have to source back boxes that fit onto a 3" bore. HTH

typical...more money! will get the cat back one from zcentre as originally thought then i guess..onyl another 50 quid anyways i guess..the car has got cats on it anyways

Cheers
