Hi, I'm afraid its another speedo question!

I have had my zed since January now and this issue has bothered me ever since.

When I imported the car my agents took care of all the Uk conversions for me. All has been satisfactory apart from the odometer conversion.

What they did was fit one of these electronic boxes so the speedo is all correctly calibrated to use the JDM dials. All they did was black out the "k" on the "kmh". The thing that bugs me is that the odometer is clocking up in miles now and not in kilometers. I mean it all looks a bit dodgy when I eventually come to sell it and I have to tell them that some of the odometer reading was run up in kilometers and the rest in miles!

Is this just how everyones car is when the electronic box is used or has my car been sorted by cowboys?

They're not cowboys; as far as I know that's simply how it works. Just make sure you have a record of what it got to in km.

You could always ask your import agent to send the km mileage (kilometerage! ) to you on headed paper- at least that way it looks professional!

matey, mines done the same. As markw has said just keep a record of the mileage/km. I did this by contating Luke at the Zcentre and hes got Nissan servicing books for sale. Think there about a fiver.

Cheers guys, nice to know i'm not the only one on here with my speedo like this.

I would ideally like to get my odometer professionaly clocked so its all in miles. I am sure you can get this done and its all above board and legal.
