its probably a question been asked lotsof times, but what is the differences in bhp, 0-60 and top speed. ive got to buy one this afternoon and there seems to be alot more na about for good money

youre right matey its been asked a lot of times. the figures will differ slightly depending upon condition/mods etc. obviously but these are roughly the average figures (which some will disagree with to this day!):

TT: 280/300bhp (depending upon jap/uk/usa), 5.6 secs, and (i think) jap limited to 112mph, uk limited to 155mph, but un-limited will sail to 180+

autos are slightly slower than manuals to 60 (perhaps 6.0) but are slightly faster to 100 (open up can of worms again! :) )

NA: 222 (ish), 6.7 secs (ish) but unsure of top speed.

good luck with the purchase fella, you shouldnt be disappointed. are you buying from someone on the forum?

i want one straight away. cant get any pics of charlie1. will ring him when mines definately gone

NA is easier to live with. TT goes like stink...your choice. How many times do you really go over 100mph...honest now!!

Doesn't matter really - if you want wicked performance through gears for easy, safe overtaking ability you need a TT :D

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

If i was to go for an na, it would have to be a manual, test drove

one before i got the TT, was very torquey. But had to have a TT

once i'd driven one!

Theres pros & cons for both i s'pose. :)

if you buy a n/a

you will soon wish you had bought a tt

(all show no go springs to mind)

I have owned an NA and a TT, both have positives and negatives, The NA is an easier car to drive to its limit, and IMHO is an easier car to live with as a daily driver, they sound better and is predictable in their power, and are easier to maintain, tho some parts are not readily available and the bling is limited, but they are in my experience more reliable. Of course (unless you mod its t1ts off) it will not match the power of a TT, which is certainly addictive and if you are doing your travel on empty roads where you can use the power the TT is your choice, they are more complicated (harder to maintain), there is loads of spares and modding kits available. They also have been quite often thrashed, modded (not always expertly) and when something does go wrong it is quite often major hence expensive. For my money I would have an NA as a daily driver and a TT for thrashing.

I am also in this position, I was leaning towards an NA. Where do they get their power delivery?

wot is the actual top speed ov an NA Z as mines still got the limiter on and are they all limited to 112 cos mine seems faster than that
