My mate want to by a Mitsibushi 300GT, rather than a Z32. WHat do you guys think of them, do you know any specs on them versus the Z32

4 wheel drive as oppsed to rear wheel drive ,( better in the wet ) not as powerfull as a stock z32, relatively easy and cheap to upgrade , terrile gearbox problems , very techno brash and expensive to repair ....

not much of a drivers car in my opinion. Too gadgety and they have a habit of producing understeer at inopportune moments.

"No Chance Mate, No Chance"

I think the only way to decide for yourself is find a good one a take it for a test drive.

As mentioned above it's not really a drivers car. it's too much eltrics and not enough user control IMHO.

I was looking at the gt3000/gto (uk/jap), 300zx, Supra.

I drove the Supra first, it was very nice but was more than I wanted to spend and not as good looking as the other two.

I then drove the 3000gt. I felt a little cramped in there and didn't like the layout of the cockpit. However I thought it looked quite nice from outside.

It was easy to drive and very smooth, but it didn't feel like you were in a 3.0 tt when you put your foot down, it was fast but not fun to drive.

I then a 300zx, it wasn't in tip top condition, but as soon as I saw it in the flesh I got all excited. Looking at the interior it was more spacious than the 3000gt. Then the test drive... the owner was driving and approached a corner at about 60mph he went round it got the ar$e out a little and said "sorry about that the rear tyres are a litle low on tread", we swapped places. As soon as I pressed the acelerator I could feel that I had a car ready to go (much like the Supra). After 5 mins of getting used to it I had a little play, didn't go mad but I knew that was the car for me. I was tempted to buy that one but I had a couple more to look at and finally bought one two days later.

I hope this helps ;). lol

LMFAO, You gotta love that Vid!! No chance mate, No chance. Still cracks me up

Go with the above on this, my mate had one when I had my NA, and being silly one night we took each other out for a test drive. He sold his GTO :)

A mate of mine has a GTO - I've had a good drive of it (if drive is the right word). Very fast without feeling fast and where in my Z I feel like its me controlling the car, in the GTO, with its electronics and 4wd system, I felt more like I was vaguely participating in the experience - the car doing most of the driving.

Horrible dash too...

WHat do you guys think of them

we hate them :D

zeds are far better!!

Better than oversteer at inopportune moments, doncha think? :D

I've heard a lot of people say it's not a very involved driving experience though. Me mate's thinking of getting one too
