The car is using a Doolz twin POP intake with a single AFM and custom chip with 555's.

The engine runs OK when being revved but when idling the revs rise and fall and it stumbles a bit.

The strange thing is it was very windy last night and it seemed to do it every time the wind blew hard.

The clutch isn't working so it's stationery but i don't know how it would be when moving.

Has anyone noticed this problem?

I'm wondering if the wind blowing on the unmetered bank of the engine is making a difference and fitting my AFR and a second AFM will sort it?

Hasn't srrae got a doolz setup?

Chris US petrol and uk are the same octane rating, they just use different scales of measurement.

I think so. I'll ask if he's got the chip with it.

So far I can't find anyone with a Doolz AND chip!

So a US chip should be no different if the fuel is the same.

A lot of people mention it and I don't know who to believe.

I've mailed Z1 to get some info.

If the Doolz does really split the air 50:50 then the parameters in the chip you had should work fine. If yuo get it moving and it's still rough then bring it down and we can tweak the parameters a bit.

If you get a Doolz chip then I can adjust it for 555's no problem.

No need for a DoolZ setup on Mac's car - it has a MAP sensor so will NOT be affected by a true seperate intake system :p

Christ Andy, don't mention that, it makes veins pop out in Ian's neck and all sorts :D You're not an EXPERT anyway
