Hi all

just had the fibreglass replica spoiler fitted (usual story - OE one like a sodden sponge  )

However I seem to have lost the 2 bits of trim that fill the void between the tail-gate and the top of the rear lights (either side of that "gap" under the brakelight where you should insert your hands to lift the boot......

Is this part of the OE spoiler or can I buy them separately?

Thanks

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I did take the spoiler to my local bodywork shop.....looks like they may have forgotten them......

I'll call them tomorrow

they should go in with the spoiler fitted. There is a lip on the edge that goes under the spoiler, put that in first, add a little persuasion, 10 mins at gasmark 5.

Make sure they are in the right position before adding the persuasioon ;)

Woohoo, thanks Jock

I picked them up from the body-work shop yesterday and fitted them back on today :D

New spoiler left a much tighter fit than the old one but I trimmed them down a bit and did what Jock said and they're on......

Plus I stuck on a chrome-look "twin turbo" badge that I bought from the USA. Just the 3rd brake light to fit now - I'll do that next week when I get the screws to fit it.
