ive just been to pick my car up from my garage from having after market gages fitted and when i started it up the auto box was making lots of noise when you rev the car ? its never done this before !!

when i went up the road and stoped at a set of lights all my gears went and would not move ???

i found if you swicth of the engine off the box works again and the gears come back to life.

i got it back to the garage and checked it all over and we are at a loss

checked and put some more oil in thats ok thers a rattle and a whine and it stops if you turn engine off and back on again but after 2 mins its back and the gears stop working????
