hi... i am wondering if i can fit the cheaper piston type dumpvalves (the kind that you would find rs turbo/cosworth owners fitting to there cars) that cost around 70 pound each, or do i have to fit jap/american type blow off valves that cost about 200 pound each?... if i can fit the cheaper type dv's does anyone know what additional things i will need...

you can fit the bailey twin piston dump valves no problem (i have them), but you will have to make your own adapters/piping

I used to have the bailey ones as well stuey0604 has them now and they worked ok but i now have the apexi bovs and there much better but i have the fitting pipes with the plumbing in if you want them

Hey there bud, sorry to be off topic, but where in West Sussex are ya? as i live round that way sometimes.

They have different ratings too??

Some Baileys twin piston are rated at

and some are above 12>psi

Which one to go for as Std boost is 7-9 psi but boost controller pushes 15psi.

Will it damage anything getting the >12 psi one when running std boost? as it will not open up all the way and vent and possibly bounce back into the turbo?
