After much talk on here about the Lambo doors for a Z It never really interested me.However after seeing them today in the flesh at the Notts show I will be having a pair. :duffer:

Would certainly make getting in/out in my narrow garage a bit easier.

Better drink half a bottle of Tam Due and lie down in a dark room. Promise you'll be O.K. next day :slap: :D

yeah they have gas struts to make them easier to open, but you have to cut the inside of the wing , and isn't there stuff in the wings that would need to come out vac stuff etc? the guy said you have to take the wing off too

Yeah I talked to the guy at Santa pod. He was just opening them as I walked up to them. Opened them with 2 fingers and not straining! He said many Lmabo conversions do not work on the Zed because of the weight of the doors but his kit uses a ram thats about 1 1/2 - 2 inches in diameter! He also said that was £800 fitted!!!!! Not doing them yet but would be in the near future. The doors can either be opened conventionlly or Lambo stylee. :cool: Didn't look like there was any rubbing to me.

 

Also as a bonus my girlfriend (who hates the car BTW) said she'd go halves with me at xmas on a set!!!!! Result!!!!!! :dance: :shock: :dance: :cool:

Iv spoken to the guy at http://www.knightsbridgeperformance.com and the 300 at the start of the thread is his, now he told me that you do have to cut the wing but apart from that its a very simple fit, he told me 1200+ for full fitting by them, there is a set on e-bay at the moment, its the same one he is selling, thats how i got hold of him, his car is in sep issue of revs if anyone wants a closer look...... im well up for a set of these!! :dance: i think if we put in a job lot we could get it cheaper!! who's up for it? :slap:

Spoke to the main man and you dont have to take the wing off to cut it back.......if that helps!
