Nope. Just some people doing like it. When it starts needing replacment parts it starts to get expensive. :(

Plus many people who have removed it say the car handles better with out it.

EVERYTHING WORKING PROPERLY.

 

Which implies:

 

No boost leaks

No coolant leaks

No fuel leaks or other fuelling problems

Good coil pack and injector connectors

Good temp sensor harness

Adjusted TPS

 

Therefore number one mod is Smithy's hard pipes for induction and fuel, plus all the vac hoses!

 

Number two mod is Pete's kit to ensure decent earth.

 

Then you can think about everything else...

Good Tyres

Better Brakes

Remove Hicas

Ploy bush kit

New springs and shocks

Better Rad

 

Even a totally standard TT will cook the brakes.

In that order. A good standard car will be a real pleasure to drive with the above. All the other Thousands of pounds we spend is all personal taste.

Bushes and arms went south and replaced them, still had Hicas trouble.

So, replaced teh Hicas with a Stillen Unit.

 

Total transformed how the car drives. No move jumping out on you, no more feeling is that the rear steering or is that the reer sliding. No move heart punding moments.
