Craigs post got me thinking, is anyone on here slighty famous or do a job where ordinary people, like me, would have heard of you. Work for a car mag, spot on TV, car featured in a magazine, double platinum album etc etc?

I once sold a newspaper to Michael Heseltine ! Somehow I doubt he'll remember me though ....

Was on world wide news, twice while serving with UN

Intervied by Kate Aidie (complet cow) as I was leaving teh army in 2 months, so they put my face on TV just in case.

Was interviewd by BBC again over a report they did about 8 years ago on the state of Tennis in the UK. Boy did I give teh LTA a bashing, they have never forgive me.

Erm, well, one of my friends, who's brother used to be the drummer for Kula Shaka is a short-film producer and I've been in one of his films that won an award at the Edinburgh film festival. So, I guess you'd call me a film star!

My father was head of modern languages at a very expensive private school near here. Quite a lot of wealthy people's children go there. He's retired now, but he's taught Sting's and Mick Jagger's Sons, Sophie Dahl and a few others. There is talk of the younger Beckams going there. But not sure if anything's become of it. I know they had looked at sending Romeo there.

He's also good friends with Duncan Goodhew (ex Olympic Swimmer and also TV personality). I've eaten with him and Jeremy Edwards as well.

We've had President Jiang Zemin of China's grand son eat at our house.

Apparently, Nicholas Cage has recently bought a property in a village about 3 miles from here. But never seen him....oh, and Gary Glitter used to live about 10 miles from here. Used to see him walking his Dog from time to time as we had friends in the same village (Wedmore).

I think that’s as far as it goes. Oh, Patrick Moore (used to present ‘The Sky at Night’), one of my Mother’s close friends use to produce some of his TV series.

....and of course my brush with Richard Hammond on the M4 before xmas!

im not saying anything... you lot would rip the piss from here to fookin eternity

To reprise from that thread:

Helped get Kenny Baker (R2D2...who was the guest of honour...my friend was president of the "Star Wars" society...although he had only seen one film...basically it was a good excuse to form a society and get hammered) riotously pissed on 125 year old port at a small Black Tie dinner at Queens college Oxford. Had to drive his modified green Rolls around as he'd left it across two reserved spaces and the Senior Tutor was apparently out for his blood.

Appeared in a low budget "art-house" film with Johnny "Reveals All" Ball. He signed my script. Bless.

Had "relations" with Imogen Heap.

Went on a post-gig bender with half the GLC in Birmingham (just before they "broke" when they played their last small gig at Academy 2). My mate's mate was their dealer.

Saw Michael Elphick coming out of a flat in Hounslow years ago (RIP Boon)

Stood 2 seats away from Jarvis Cocker when he made an appearance in the crowd at Wembley during U2's Pop Tour. He got a round of applause.

Called celebrity hairdresser Lee Stafford a "fVcking c**t" to his face when he stepped on my girlfriends ball gown and didn't apologise at another black tie hairdressing do in Stratford (my mom and girlfriend are also in the business and were demonstrating on the same bill). Was amused to see the look on his face (not to mention the evils I got from his "close personal male friend"...)

My life is weird.

GLC sent a card (signed by all of them) to my wedding!

Great lads and what a memento! But....they can write????

  ;)

my sister lived with "Neville" out of the specials band for 2 years, there music was shite and he was a racist twat
