Crashed a 1991 jap import manual twin turbo and unfortunately only on 3PFT insurance. This is the second crash and this time I wasnt being a prat. Engine is fine (just under 60000 miles) and the gearbox is good aswell. However all rads at front are knackered (and oil cooler etc) and the front bumper / bonnet are done for and it has done one light unit and pushed the front right in destroying the fan etc and bending the front cross member right in. Im looking just to get rid of it now and would like either some idea of what its worth or offers if anyones interested in a project. After the accident i managaed to drive it 2 miles home and it was fine. (where the cross member has pushed in it has squashed two pipes which obviously has screwed air induction etc up so it 'chugged' when it went over 2500 rpm.
The car was lovely, it hasnt damaged any other body work (doors/ rear etc) The car is a totally standard one and now im so disheartened I just want to get rid of it. As i said im only on 3pft and i havent registered the accident and wont be doing so, once youve done it up there will be no record of the accident etc.
Let me know please, i need to get another car.... But unfortunately not a 300zx. By the way it wasnt a fast crash, i was dodging a bloody cat and ended up in a hedge that unfortuantely had a lamppost in it....
