Hi All

Replacing cats (smallish job but 4 studs are broke in :( )

Looking up into my turbos and they are thick with carbon, I'm not suprised as they look to be originals after 80K.

Just wondering if anyone has ever tried any of that carbon cleaning product that you spray into the intake with the car running?

Can't do any harm can it?..................or can it?

I think I'm being silly as I bet you could'nt shift it with a wire brush. :o

Anyone any thought's

Cheers

i'd probably leave them as they are, too scared of breaking them lol. Spraying stuff into the intake wont do anything for it, will get burned off in the engine. Best bet would probably be to spray shitload of carb cleaner in there, the crap would then be sent down the exhaust if it moves it.
