uk v import engine

Is it compatable to use an 300tt import engine in a uk tt car ??? will this lead to any probs or has some one done it, thanks

its basically the same engine, as long as it goes ont the right geabox.

it would be a uk manual

i think in a jap engine, all you need to change to meet UK spec is the injectors, to have a higher flow rate.

the injectors are 370cc for both UK and import TT's, I think the only one with smaller injectors are the NA's

Yep I'll go with Jaffa on this one.

TT's have 370cc injectors (jap and UK)

NA have 340cc injectors (Jap and UK)

whats happened to your engine JD?

also do you have pics of the respray yet? was it up to spec?

Im getting near 100,000 its got tappet probs poss a big end on it way too

+ I need more power :)

was thinking if I can get hold of a cheap block completely refurb it and up rate some internals, through the summer! I could strip the old one out take off the good bits in the winter ready for next year
