Hello all,

Can anyone tell me where i can get the bulbs as above as i have tried all my local car shops and no one sells them, is a main dealer part???

While im on the subject if people like them, i have had a sticker made for the brake light (photo attached) andif people would like these then i can get them made up, not sure on price but def. below a tenner including postage, and can have any word put in and generally in your car colour. I think its quite effective thats why i need a new bulb as the 1st one in mine is dead.

Cheers

I'm told that Nissan sell them. All of mine have blown at some time in the past now and they've all been replaced with Halfords w5w jobbies. Yeah, sure they are less bright, but I don't think it really matters much.

Thanks i was thinking to do the same, replace all three with the standard push in 5w sidelight bulbs. And at least these are standard off the shelf jobbies.

Cheers

£1.80+VAT from Nissan as of December 2001.

Bulb 501, normal sidelight bulb for 99% of the cars on the road, does the job fine.

Ant do you have a picture of these

if they are the same of the jap spec ones I got them from B & Q out of the garden lights

If you know someone that has a fruit machine and has spare bulbs then these are the same. Thats how I replaced mine anyway. Bloke in the parts shop told me they were the same. He knew staright away what I was on about.

Clever bugger!!
