If your getting a new one i would just go for a uprated one as there not much dearer but try a few of the traders like andy z who usually has these in for a decent price.

Installation wise there straight forward

Jack car up, remove the under shield that protects the auxilary belts, you then need to remove the lower fan cowling, (its held in with 3 clip) and unscrew the two screws holding the main cowling on. Then put a bucket under the drain plug and undo that, remove the rad cap to aid in draining

once drained remove the lower rad pipe and the upper rad pipe, also remove the retaining brackets. remove the two screws holding the upper radiator cowling in place and pull all of that out,

then you just have to pull the rad out, there are two rubber gromets that the rad sits in, be sure that you don't lose those, also when pulling the rad up it may catch on the intercooler pipes, just give it a wiggle :)

it takes around 30 minutes to drain and remove.

Thanks for the info guys, :)

I would go for an uprated "HOWE"rad from http://www.z1motorsports.com thats what I fitted to mine.2"1/4 cor and billit aloy all round.Bigger and even with inport tax, cheaper than stock.

Will take a look, sounds good to me. Nice Sig :)

I ordered mine on the phone, best after 1pm.Mention Vinz, there great guys. They have even put my car pic's on there site.

Yep, I got Howe rad from Z1 as well.

Mine was really easy to fit but it was made easier as I removed the viscous fan and shroud and replace with an electric one.

Not meaning to hijak the thread but have you got any performance stats for your rad yet Stuart i.e what temp the car generally runs at as opposed to the old rad with Viscous fan ??

No mate I haven't got round to fitting an after market temp gauge yet so I can't tell you the exact temp difference however after a long trip up to Thor, a few RR sessions and the long trip back (stuck in traffic for 30 mins as well) the gauge was still sitting lower than it did with the stock rad and viscous.

I have to say personally it's runing cooler, then then I can not say whether that is the howe rad or the electric fan. We need another guinea pig :D
