Also, I've got some other ideas for Rockingham Motor Speedway (where I do a lot of work) but I don't know how to start a thread (not too good on the computers me!)

 

Do I need to perhaps become a fully suscribed ZX Club member?

Where is Rockingham Motor Speedway and what sort of ideas do you have. You should be able to put a new thread up by just going into the general section and hitting the new thread button(top left section of the screen). You don;t need to be a subscribed member to do that (I don;t think so anyway), however if you want to support the club and this site then membership is only £20 for a year and £15 rejoining fee each year after that. This will give you discounts in the traders forums which is worth £20 alone plus lots of other interesting and exciting stuff :D

Rockingham is near Corby (Northants) being the all new Circuit and Banked Oval track (home of Days of Thunder racing/ASCAR). I tried before to get word through to Club Secretary (Mark?) but guess it never made it. In the May issue of Practical Perfomance Car the idea in on Page 16 (the Editor is a pal of mine) and the June issue, just out, has my car featured albeit I've not seen it myself yet. Anyway, the idea was to try to arrange for owners to do some Parade laps at Lunchtime (behind a Pace Car!) at one of the Race Meetings. The benefit would be that owners would get a couple of free tickets and a fun day out.

Hi mate. Welcome to the exciting/expensive world of Z ownership. The Rockingham idea sounds great. I'll have to get a copy of the mag, like to see members cars featured.
