come up with a better colour scheme to match in with this forum and win 50pence to be donated to the fizzy drink of your choice

I've set the idle time on the forum from 15 minutes to 5 minutes, this means if you are inactive for 5 minutes or more it will mark all the forums read, is this too low? ive had a lot of complaints that 15 is too high.

Why does it need to do that at all? It sounds like a good way to miss a load of threads to me.

Where's all the threads that I haven't read gone? Oh there they are in ickle non bold print :D

Ah, but the question you should be asking is why are they in ickle non bold print if you haven't read them. :nono:

The problem, as I see it, with the 5, 10 or 15 mins idle time, is when I'm at work, and end up getting disturbed from looking through the forum ;) ( Bloody work  ) I often get back and loose all un-read posts.

On the other point, the names in the Rides section, should be bold, or somthing else, looks a bit nancy looking :x:

And while we're at it, how about some more fancy smilies :D

Ride look cool.

To be honest I'm logged into the forum all day and it's reallyhard to see what posts I've missed.

Is there no option to set all post to read only when you log out and back in again.

I mean I personally want to read all the post but also have to work and go to meetings when I come back and press refesh I haven't got a clue where I was and have to keep looking at the time stamps all the time.

It would be excellent for me if the mark all as read is only an option on logout.

there is an option coming soon where posts will be marked read once read rather than by time, its coming just vbb are taking their time :S

Mike the rides section list does look better."BUT"why is the list not in alphabeticle order downwards as opposed to being cross ways and then down.I have always found it ilogical to find names in that format. Can this be changed easily?(HAS ANYONE ELSE FOUND IT AWKWARD)?

I didnt even realise it was in alphabeticale order :o

the misus spotted it the other night when I was trying to find out something (looking over shoulder) and I never took her on

It had been a long day though............

How long is the idle time on the system?

I looked at new posts and there were about half a dozen or so. I click one, read it for a few mins, a few mins to post my reply. After posting I clicked new posts and it said there was none. :(
