What is entailed in replacing all the connectors that fit on top of the coil packs?

Mine are all cracked and loose. Had trouble with them a few weeks ago and then again today racing a bimmer down the 329M started loosing power and warning lights came on- when I pulled up one of them had completely jumped off.

Was thinking blue-tac and an elastic band, but it gets a bit hot round there

If I got hold of replacement connectors, how much of the wiring would I have to replace or can you just cut them close to the coil packs and join on to existing wires?

they sell coil wiring sets from a Pulsar GTiR which only have 4 though so 2 sets will need to be orderd. Try get some one else who wants some, as you can buy 3 between you and nothing is wasted.

Fitting new connectors is easy , if you are going to replace these you might aswell look at your injector connectors at the same time , because they will probably be in poor shape to

You should cut back as far as poss on the original connectors, therefore replacing as much old, crappy, green wire as possible. You'll be surprised how far up the corrosion travels.
