Oh also the pads are pre chamfered and slotted. Jeff TT

Jeff mate, have you used EBC greenstuff before and how do these compare if you have?

I ask becoz I am running GreenStuff on the front of my Zed (350BHP and 18's) and I get loadsssss and loadsss of shit on my wheels, just wondered if the pads you talk of are any better at not shedding shit loads of muck onto your wheels.

That's a bugger, I was planning on switching to Greenstuff and one of the bonuses was that they were supposed to leave less crap on the wheels.

Greenstuff pads I have`nt tried, the old cynic in me has trouble equating the premium price they are,in relation to any increased braking performance.I did use Mintex road race pads in my Cosworth and did think they reduced fade. However normal road comparisons are full of so many variables its hard to positivily compare,I mean discs, shock absorbers, springs you name it,we have all fallen for it you fit some thing new and convince yourself its better...but thats because it is you have replaced worn out bits with new bits, standard parts would often give the same result when changed against old bits,Slotted or drilled disc..I dunno it seems more sense to me to find good quality units that are sensibly priced ,that way you can replace them every 2 years without a big cost penalty and retain that new feel. Just my thoughts anyway..oh and the pads do produce some dust, I seem to rember the Mintex been fairly dust free. Jeff TT

Johnny at Grasshopper will sort you with Metal Matrix...

I have the EBC grooved disks and Metal pads..

They are quality a marked difference over stock..

Regardz

Called the shop in Birmingham. They chap on the phone quoted me 150 (inc vat) (disks and pads). He said they were Brembo Disks and Motoquip pads? Is this right?

CheerZ

About a week, from abroad, will need to do a small group buy though 3- 4 people and could get the ball rolling tomorrow if you want, they are really nice,

Warren are the brembos stock size or the big bastards like what duffman's got.
