Hi, Anyone know how much these cost and where they can be purchased from?

they only fit 2 seaters mate, Nico adapted one to fit a 2+2, and as far as I know they can only be bought from the states.

U can buy them for a 2+2!! got the catalogue in the house.

Need to get them from the states. I fancied one but a bit pricey after shipping etc. Quad 3" pipes, bit small IMO.

According to the yanks they add about 2000000000000000bhp, but thats the yanks eh!

Whats a B+B Triflow?

Supposed to be the loudest exhaust on the planet for the Zed.

But unfortunatly has the highest price tag for an exhaust on the planet too.

:)

Si.

These are just the best sounding exhaust around but not cheap.

Do a search on the U.S sites for a few videos of them in use.

I have looked into buying a Triflo for my own car a year or so ago but didn't go down that route in the end due to the excessive cost.

You can only get this exhaust by ordering directly from the US company (or via someone who stocks them like Z1 Motorsport in Chicago). Price wise you're looking at roughly £1100 delivered to the UK (plus any duty and vat). Exhaust wise you will only be able to put on the 2+2 version they make for the NA (this uses a 2.5" pipe and not 3" as for the TT 2+0). In it self not too much of a problem but for the hardcore power addicts this will not offer much improvement over the stock TT exhaust or indeed a Mongoose. These exhausts are extremely loud. My business associates have this system on their Z's and at TRAX some years ago were not allowed onto the track because they were over the legal noise limit at idle (!) When driving the car there is a massive resonance "spot" between 2.5k - 3k rpms which is where you will be at a lot of the time. I could personally not put up with that level of noise especially if your car is your daily driver.

I'm not trying to put you off buying this exhaust but just giving you my opinion based on my personal experience. B+B Trifo's are definitely the best sounding exhausts in my opinion but (a) have their cost against them and (b) could be too loud for most people's liking.

I am currently putting together a custom cat-back exhaust which, if successful, I will be selling under the DTA-Motorsport brand in due course. I'm trying to attain the sound of the B+B's but without the excessive noise inside the car. I will know more in about three weeks time when the first system is fitted to my car.

Hope the above is useful info.

Danny

Yeah I also did a lot of research of these zorsts. They are the bee knees mate.

But it worked out at £2,400 to get it shipped over after tax & VAT & etc. etc.

A little too much for me at the time, but I got a real nice sounding zorst now for £400 from gary @ pipecraft ;) (not a Triflow but sounds as close as I'm going to get to one).

I've just had a set of B&B 2+2 FPIM-0073 (triflo quad 4.5 inch - non turbo) delivered to FG's at Nottingham from Phoenix Arizona for about GBP 850.00. Remember the exchange rate is a heck of a lot better now.

You can e-mail Dennis at B&B for more info:

I'll let you know how mine sounds in about 6 weeks after its's fitted.

This is what they should look like:

*WOW* Didn't release they were quite that expensive - what would people recommend as a decent exhaust at around 500-600 quid?

Stacks of people have the Mongoose and they're pretty good. Full stainless, look stock-ish, but with a nice rumble that isn't too intrusive on motorways etc.

Yep I would say Mongoose.

However if you want something custom I would recommend pipecraft (Basildon, essex)
