Seeing as I've taken the engine out twice now, I personally would take the gearbox off to get to the knock sensor. But....If you've not taken the box off before - you'll want to steer clear of this I should think

hi everybody just wanting to know where the knock sensors are situated on my 300zx engine . is there just 1 or is there 2 of them also has any body got any as they are about £184 :shock:

 

 

I bought my new one from Courtesyparts - loads cheaper....
