Actually , was just gonna put a mail up regarding my thoughts on the SE fast road rebuild , well firstly the gear change , this is blindingly quick , the gearchange fom 3rd to 2nd produces wheel spin most of the time and the faster your booting it the quicker the change.

 

the gearbox is certainly smoother than my old one at WOT and just pottering about.

 

the one down side that I have found is that my water temp has gone up approx 5 degrees :confused: which is odd because the after market cooler has been fitted so I am not using the rad end tanks.

 

All in all very happy and I wish I had done it ages ago the car is a completally different beast

asked Mac myself about the box just a few days ago....time to start saving for one of these! got my box recond 18mnths ago and its still not as it should be :rolleyes:

1 It won't be worth the hastle for a 0.1 of a second gain in 0-60

 

2 It is from a N/A it wont handle the power and it will blow up:D;)

how much is a se auto rebuild?
