thought it was a warped disc but not sure as im driving along and dont really need to brake that hard the car will start to vibrate and the steering wheel will shake quite bad side to side any ideas.

yea dont drive it till you get it sorted out

Have you checked your front wheels for flat spots??

 

Take it to a 'kwik fit' and get your front and rears balanced, only costs pennies....

 

If there is a problem (i.e. flat spot) it will be highlighted when it's spun on the balancing machine.

yer it only does it under braking if i brake light its ok but if i brake a bit harder than light it starts to judder.

Mine has just started to do this too........

 

I was giving the car a good booting at 140-150 (private road officer :x: ) a couple of weeks ago and left it a bit too late for a roundabout :o Had to brake very hard as there was a car already in it. Loads of smoke fom the pads :D Zed stopped no problem, but the dreaded judder has developed over the last week :(

 

I'll get onto Mike Feeney for a set of Stillen discs, methinks ;)

any suggestions how much discs will cost for the front and where to buy at was lookin at some brembo cross drilled on ebay but arent really sure.
