Hi-

Please can someone help?! I have a Jap TT which has a chip and a few mods. I think the chip was fitted in Japan. I don't know what the spec is. Is it possible to have it read/ altered?

Thanks

Leonard

There are a few people on here who can do you a chip of your choice. I know some jap chips can be fueled for 100 ron fuel and can run lean with our pump p*ss. If the car runs fine without detting then its probably ok, otherwise make sure you use optimax or super. look on the ecu and on the chip itself sometimes there is a sticker on it to tell you what type it is.

If someone near you has a Conzult or EPROM programmer, then they can read the chip for you - if you send me the BIN file I'll have a look at it. Failing that myself/baggins/andy P should be able to do a replacement for you that's a known setup.
