Anyone fitted these ?.

Do you know if you need to fill all the bolt holes ?. What I mean is do the bolt holes link the the inside of the IC ?. I only used two of the bolt holes on each IC and I have a bit of a large boost leak. Where I'm usuaully running 16 psi I'm getting about 10.5 . I'm thinking that this mat be the cause.

If someone from the group buy hasn't fitted theirs yet can you do me a favour and blow into the bolt holes to see if there is an airway there or it's closed off. Thanks.

Yes I notices that when I got mine. The front bolt holes go into the intercooler so air car escape. I thought it was rather poor. Put a bolt in it and maybe put some of that white thread tape on it first to help keep an air tight seal.

I've got the SE ones and they are blanked off.

Seems stupid that they go right through on the Greddy ones.

It is stupid but they do.

Stupid but not uncommon, seen this on other aftermarket jobbies from big companies, i imagine it's something SE asked not to have done when they had there's made for them. BTW arn't they the holes for fixing the duct covers to ?

I don't have any ducts, they seemed to disapear. I will get a 2nd hand set and mod them to fit. Thanks guys, I'll plug the holes as soon as it stops f3cking raining

I am sure you dont have to modify the ducks. They look like they just go straight on.

QUAAACK!

My HKS intercoolers both have two holes in each that go straight through .You defo have to blank these off with bolts and some type of thread seal, beleave me !

It's so impressive that you can post a question on here and someone will actually go out and strip their car down and take pictures just to help you out.

I'm truly impressed by such generous helpfulness!

Yes mate they are the ones. I've used both holes on the left but not the one on the right.

There is also one at the back which I will also bolt up.

Thanks for the help guys.

No probs,I don't know if you can see on the picture but the holes on the SE intercoolers don't go straight through the tanks.
