I did 140 the other day but bottled out for fear of losing my licence (I live in North Wales!). The car felt like it would have carried on to 160mph+.

I'm running 14psi boost which helps a little:cool:

What's the fastest you've been in your cars?

152 on my GPS, speedo was at nearly 160!!!!

ย

Stock speedo doesn't seem far out on your then, mate :)

ย

I've read that some are over 10% out at that speed, but also that when these cars were new, they were fairly accurate

ย

I've proved mine was accurate at 70-80mph, so I guess my indicated 160 max was probably the speed limiter kicking in at around 155.......

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Vinz, is that with the NOS running?

160 but is it limited cos she pulled like anything getting there then stopped pullin and sat there but also had 1000 revs before the red.

One Hundered & Seventy Eight

This looks like another session of the "numbers game" Vinz :P

176mph on the clock, 2.30am, running standard boost, very little mods, m6 west bound from the M1. Bloody ridiculously fast road!!

Surely our clocks are out though!!!
