I know this is a bit sad, but I just caught a bit of QVC and they're flogging the Power Green thingy again, ( a magnet that you stick on your fuel line) claiming improved fuel economy and increased power output.Find it all a bit hard to believe but they flashed up a graph showing a 6% increase in power output on a Skyline GTR. So two points, if they're lying how do they get away with it, how about someone on here who gets their car dyno'd getting one and testing it (maybe get club funds for the £30 purchase price).

Theres an old saying that a fool and his money are soon parted LOL :D

I work in a car factory and know how much development and money goes into trying to meet the tighter restrictions on emissions and fuel consumption every year, its really complex stuff so if it was as simple as sticking a magnet on your fuel pipe then we would have been doing it long ago believe me!

Oiii!!

It was a part time gig, honest......:D

Matty.

The strading standards will have to pay for a test to prove it wrong. They may have asked for proof that is does do that they the company could have give them anything. They could have tested it but not on the same car or with the same spec. Its then upto Trading Standards to prove it doesnt work. They cant afford to test every product to see if what they say is true.

Yeah. A better route in this case is to complain to QVC - they have a reputation to uphold with their motoring customers!
