Regardless what I do i can not get more than 0.4 ish bar boost. It feels like it is being choked. Was running car at 0.9 bar.

Car has Apexi boost controler and induction, mongoose Exhaust. It has how ever been in a body shop for 9 months most of the time with no bonnet, front bumper and N/S wing. They've been moving it around and proberbly put any old petrol in it and had it Idling.

Do you think the Cats may have collapst. Any other Idea's Help

actuators?

unlikely to be both, but I cant see the cats effecting boost that much

what are your avcr settings?

Any smoke at idle/ under boost?

your avcr isnt set to off is it?

or the boost solenoid disconnected?

that would give you .4-.5 bar of boost

Adam I wouldn't know. I'm completely lost with all this Techno stuff and Dave never gave me a Manual for the boost controler. If it was just mechanical like in the olden day I'd be able to fix it

give me a call on 0151 355 2130 and I'll go through it with you now

Thanks Adam at least thats one thing less to worry about.

0.4-0.5 bar is max boostlevel with the boostcontroller turned off.

Check the wire/connector to the boostactuactor of your AVCR or the actuator itself has packed up.

You could also reconnect the stock actuator solenoids and see if you are able to run stock boostlevel (0.6-0.7 bar)...if this is the case then for sure you have a problem with the AVCR's actuator

just been over this on the phone ;)

I am having the same problem, where would i find a copy of the manual?

go to main menu (by repeatedly pressing previous) you should see...

monitor

setting [a], , or [off]

etc

If setting is set to off you'll make .5 bar at best

to alter the setting use the 4 arrow keys... press down once so setting is highlighted, then across to alter setting

ConZult only showed TPS up spout and Changed that. Also Popped an other ECU in last night and no change. I'm hoping its just plumbing thats got knocked or loose wirring.

The trials and tribulations of owning a F****** Z

Mark, worth priniting the wiring diagrams off too. Will make it easier to fault find.

Should be able to check the solenoid by putting 12v across the connector and seeing if it closes.

As I said, if you don't have any luck, pop back round and we'll have a go.

Sh1t people I don't give a rats arse how many different Theory's you've got. Cause if I had a flying as to what is wrong I wouldn't ask. It don't mater how Irrelevant or stupid it sounds, so long as its not stupid for stupid sake I would like to hear. That way I can eliminate it from the problem.

I think you are the first person to reply a quote of his own post

Hope you find the problem

can't be a hard mistake to make, considering the tiny little reply button in the posts are larger than the proper reply button.
