I need some grill to protect my radiator, i need enough to fit to the front and IC side and front pods,

all the DIY stores around here sell shitty chicken wire, I need something more robust that looks good, and does't impede airflow too much,

o and i don't want to spend the £100 i was quoted for some stuff a few months back.

Mine was done with fiberglass originally, but it kept falling off. I used sikaflex/flexibond to bond it on with and it's fine now - just needed a bit of flexibility.

GRILL?? chuck a couple of slices of bacon under for me.

The B&Q Superstore near me does all kind of really good mesh/grill.

The decent stuff is actually woven rather than extruded. RGM do woven stainless steel mesh. Its  but not cheap.

I have some on my Z. Looks the business. To mount it we (I had help) used an industrial bonding agent especially for plastics/eurathane(!?) to bond small brackets on and then the mesh is cable-tied to the brakets. Means the mesh can be removed and re-mounted if required.

cheers guys ill have a look tomorrow at a few of those places

I have a bomex front so it just needs to be mounted to the brackets :)

I bought about a metre x a half for about £15 from B&Q, but it needs spraying with silver paint to stop it rusting. It was a nice close mesh and didnt look like chicken wire at all. Much cheaper than the stuff halfords sell too.

You really want to get the stainless steel woven stuff, not that cheap shite that needs painting etc.
