code 34 question

Am I right in saying that ecu code 34 is just the detonation circuit is duff rather than detonation itself? I had this error about 2 months ago, it went when I cleaned the connector and now it's back.

    Yup, probably the wiring between the sensor and the ECU has become dodgy.
