Sorry, been at it again :duffer: :duffer:

Simon.

I guess it would depend on the size of the rubber. It is possible to get an adjuster which will correct the speed if you have oversize wheels. I just need to remember where I found them. I believe they will fit under a standard arch, you just need to be careful with your offset.

There see I can be sensible. :nelson:

no no no, you forgot, remove teeth!

(cause if you forget to do this the first bump you go over will do it for you!!! :D  )

well a mate of mine put very expensive 19" rimson a well tuned Saab 900 cabriolet. He hit one small bump at relatively sensible speed and fractured both rims (cause there wasn't enough rubber covering them!).

No big deal, just another £2000 for two new rims and tyres!

17's have appealed to me greatly ever since!

having recently bought the 19" wheels from chris

ive had no problem at all, one street by me has half a dozen speed bumps

and i take them at the same speed as i did with the 16"

my z sticks to the road better, and not had a twitch from the back yet,

the only thing im paranoid about now is kerbing

they look the dogs, and fill the arches nicely

As it has been said before, get the right profile tyres to keep the overall diameter as close to stock as possible then they fit without probs.

Say 255/30/19 rear and 235/35/19 front. That should fill the arches without any scrubbing......

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

I've got 19" blitz z1 wheels with 275/30/19 rears and 245/35/19 fronts

fills arches nicely looks the dogs danglies
